About Me
My name is Pakenley Pierre. I’m a first-generation African-American student born on the island of Haiti. I'm the oldest child of my parents. They're Patrice and Clemence Pierre and my little sister is Cleny Pierre.
My mother has worked all of my life to provide a great life for my family. During most of my childhood, my mother was never around as much for family bonding. She consistently told me that I should be grateful for all of the opportunities I have in this country. Life has taught me that, “Nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity.” This quote resonates with me because a opportunity on my hand results in a wasted chance to become sucessful in the future.
I wanted to make my family proud of their hard work for pushing me all of my life.
My Hobbies
Basketball
The game of basketball is an amazing sport that I have played since I was a kid. I used to play at the UAA level and I currently play the game for fun with friends.
Gym
I was fat as a child and I was bullied for it. I turn to working out at the gym almost every day as a child. I continue to go to the gym to stay healthy and a tool for stress
Anime
I watch popular Anime like Boku No Hero Academia, Dragon Ball Super, Attack On Titan, and Boruto. There shows are very entertaining because of their amazing storylines and graphics. I prefer to watch Anime than most shows produced in the United States.
